Why Theotokos

Hinton's Theotokos Confirmation Retreats support and complement the Confirmation ministries of local churches, which are the primary disciple makers of young people.

The retreats engage Confirmands in reflecting on their own call to discipleship, as followers of Jesus, and how they can be ministers of the Gospel in very specific ways, through the resources of worship, biblical stories of call, building relationships with one another, time spent in service and reflection at Hinton, and specific workshops on the vows of membership. 

Theotokos retreats encourage Confirmands to envision what a transformed world might look like and how they, as disciples, can be agents of that transformation.
